It’s hard to be edgy and new on the internet. It is easy though to look like an ass and embarrass yourself case in point, professional marketers put together this company video.

The less said about it the better but it’ll at least make you laugh.

The Most EPIC Business Card Ever

So simple. Yet so genius.

This guy has managed to get all of the contact information that you’d need on his business card using only his email address. Why didn’t I think of this myself?

A Year in New York

People go on vacation to take a break from their daily grind. Funny thing is, we marvel and revel in the places we go to visit when to someone else it’s just home. But have you ever stopped to think about where you live and how great it is? If you live in the suburbs of New Jersey or Canada, probably not (just kidding). But for those of us city dwellers with the world at our fingertips it’s a different story. People in Manhattan go away to “get out of the city” but there’s so much to appreciate about life in the big apple than we realize.

We stumbled upon this gem and not only is this video superbly edited, it makes us damn proud to be able to live in New York.

Move

This video made its rounds through internet three months back but we thought we’d post it anyway for those of you who haven’t seen this before.

Commissioned by STA Travel Australia Rick, Tim and Andrew took the trip of a lifetime going through 11 countries in 44 days. Using two cameras and taking 18 flights, the trio created three beautiful and compelling short films based on the movement, learning and food.

Who’s ready to quit their day jobs and go on a trip like this? But no …. Really.

Umbrella Coat

Umbrella Coat

I have two umbrellas: one is small and packed away in my work bag and the other is large for monsoon weather. Aside from the fact that I never remember to bring either, when I do, the little umbrella does little to really shield me from the rain. My head is dry but my pants, my shirt and anything outside the limited range of the umbrella is immediately soaked. When i bring the big guy, I cant really get through the streets correctly and generally, it’s a pain in the ass to store.

Designer Athanasia Leivaditou did some design work and blew my mind with her revamped umbrella jacket. It’s so simple and it’s highly functional! It’s bittersweet that we file this design under “why didn’t we think of it” as it just makes sense and looks good too.
