If you’ve been keeping track of us on facebook or twitter you’ve probably already seen all of the chatter we’ve been making. With our big rebrand behind us we’re working double time to really get our brand out there.

We hope you guys have been enjoying the new jewelry we just launched but we have even more in store for you. We can’t say much but we’ve been making frequent trips to the fabric store in preparation for the next collection that we plan to release. This week we just finalized all of our fabric selections so we’re pretty excited around here. What are we making? Guess you’ll need to wait to find out!

With the recent rebrand of AGAR and things starting to take off again after long hiatus … we wanted to find a way to feature some of the people we work with who support the brand. AGAR Alumn will feature a series of interviews and photographs, showing you how other people rock our gear. To kick off our series of Agar Alumn we bring you co-contributor Mike Garcia.

Which shirt’s did you wear for your shoot?

I got the carlos, cause green is the new black. i think. or so they say and the womp-womp, cause it just about sums about most of my work days.

Do you feel like you got your swag back?

I never lost it but the shirts do help maintain a high level swagness.

How did it feel to be a model for twenty minutes?

About right. I didnt take off my shirt though so i guess i have still have some work to do. If i buy another one, can i take my shirt off?

So what’s the concept behind these? Big bling is cool … sometimes … but we wanted to create something that was a little easier on the eyes that played with small details. All of the pieces in our debut line are handmade and customized using brass chain links, carved stone, hammered brass and wood beads. Our prototypes do run a little small (perfect for the smaller wristed guys or ladies) but if you have a larger wrist just let us know when you checkout and we’ll increase the length as needed.

Well at some point, winter is coming, but right now we’re in for the long summer. For most of you, that means rest and relaxation. For us at Agar, we’re gearing up for the debut of our line of accessories! As you know, the devil is in the details and damn it, nothing says you know your details like the right accessories. We have yet to announce a drop date but we’re excited to get these out on the market and in your hands!

We are happy to announce though that we will be coming back full force as the warmer weather starts rolling around. We’ve been changing things up over here at corporate, making new plans and will hopefully be able to roll out some new initiatives and products the second half of this year. To our faithful followers, we have not forgotten about you!!

The internet is a weirdly fascinating place and while a long day at work makes you feel like you’ve seen the limits of the internet, there’s always something just around the corner.
